Some will say that “money is not that important to them”.  Two points here.  This is true - if you do not have your health , your love , or loved ones in your family want nothing to do with you - then money loses its highest importance.  Money cannot buy any of the previous or above.  If it can - for example buy love or self respect - then it is not real and only fleeting.   The second case where others will tell you that “money is not important”  or tell tales such as ” my grandparents gave all their money away to the hospital.  My grandmother used to say that if we do not have money then we can move in to the hospital”  and yet these same people seem to be little to support that way of thought and lifestyle in any of their deeds , efforts or appearances then lol.  Its as if a life insurance or salesperson  or a “financial planner”  is telling you such stories.  Lol and run for the hills .  Tales of little apparent substance and downright chicanery.

It all comes down to proper and solid values.

You may well know the Beatle’s classic tune “Can’t Buy Me Love”.  However in the real world it can be said to be even the opposite,   You cannot do a lot or even much with out good hard cash or a substitute.  Even if you have a temporary measure - say a credit card , a wealthy relative etc etc at some point it has to stop.   No matter what you may say or think - Money - is extremely important.  You trade your time and energy for money with which you then trade with others for what “you want”.  Its not as if you were Shaun Stephens and just said “I want that laptop”  and just take it from others no matter what.  At some point in life you simply have to pay.  In today’s expression its Karma - what goes around comes around.  Whether its the tax collector , the bill collector the laywer or even worse its only a matter of time.

Money is extremely important in the areas in which it works , and yet extremely important in which is does not work or matter.  This is the important distinction that the foolish often miss.  It all depends .  Its not that one size or type fits all.  One must discriminate.  Its not a matter of being arbitrary.   And while “love” may make the world go round and you may say that “you are hurt” it does not pay for the buidlings, hospitals , churches , synagogues or homes.  It also does not feed anyone.

Not convinced ?   Try not paying your hydro bills or try to pay those with love.  Try to pay with love for fuel at the filling station.  Are you still not sure.  Then try popping over to the bank and try depositing some love - either at the teller or atm.

Rich people believe money is not all important.   Money certainly has its place and role.

Control your attitudes - our attitudes are aming the few possessions that are totally within our prevail and domain and can never be taken away from you .   Houses , cars and money come and go , but your values and attitudes remain.  Of course you can choose to change your values and attitudes - but it is your choice and call .  Moreover you will not do this lightly or with disdain.

It s only when we continually exercise controls over our attitudes that we can manage external circumstances well.  Real change and changes come first from within inside you .  Your behavior then naturally follows.  In other words you cannot sell what you do not have .
