It can be said that the “management control trap” creates at least two serious problems as well as areas of concern. As we have seen with our poor example of management - as detailed previously - poor Mr. S. such styles of “management” if it can be called that or better “a pathological need to control others ” may be a better description . Alternatively is can be described as the “golden rule” in that the “rules are golden and they are my rules” plays to the point. Efficiency , productivity or end profit play nothing to the tune. With pathological control issues it seems that neither profit , rewards or any type- financial or otherwise , or any resulting efficiencies or economies are of no concern what so ever. Its all about power and teaching who is boss. What a colossal waster of time energy and morale. What foolish and downright stupid behavior. Such “managers” , if they can be called that, should be shot - or in the real world fired or demoted.
After all in wealth creation - if we are to create wealth and riches honestly through the motivated work of others , if we are to motivate others to produce wealth and share with their “managers”: or “supervisors” do we not need to create results honestly and openly without threat or intimidations ?
