Are the Wealthy Different than You and Me - Not really
The question is often asked - are the wealthy different than you and me ?
One woman even commented on the death of a billionaire at age 50 - How is it possible that a wealthy man died. As if wealth somehow gave this person protection against the grim reaper.
The wealthy are no different than you and I. Everyone has to put on their pants and tie their shoes one leg or one foot a time. If this wealthy billionaire had not been born wealthy or due to accident , financial loss or misadventure lost his fortune - would his death been forestalled or life extended - no.
The rich and wealthy are no different than you and I. That is the amazing part of living in a young vibrant culture - like the United States of Canada. You are not tied by birth , you are not tied by your mind - only your thoughts can make the difference. It is not as if you were born into a caste system in India where your station in life is set by birth. You have no choice in a caste system in India. You were put on earth to serve the upper crust caste Brahmins. Neither planning , wealth , education or anything else can change your level and status.
In America you can be whatever you want to be. Education can help. Education is a marker. Generally only 10 -15 % of the population has a university degree - so a simple university degree puts you a leg up. However education is only a maker. You will find more intelligent people generally among those educated. However there are people who are university graduates who were stupid when they went to school and stupid when they left their school of choice.
In the end it comes down to thought patterns along with dedication and determination. Nothing else . The rich are no different than you and me . It is just that they think better and apply themselves in a determined and consistent manner.
